How does mobile top-up work?

When you buy a mobile top-up, we electronically instruct the telecom operator to credit the selected amount to the specified mobile number. Our side of the process takes mere milliseconds, but the online communication between us and the mobile operator may take a few seconds.

 

The mobile operator typically responds with one of three top-up statuses:

  • Success: Your mobile recharge was successfully processed. Everything's in order.
  • Failed: Your recharge didn't go through. Please refer to the FAQ for potential reasons.
  • Pending: Should your top-up be in this status; it's recommended to wait briefly. Such issues usually sort themselves out after a short period.
